SculptureDaniel William Zampino.

Welcome.  Please view my Biography. To the left is a sculpture entitled 'Ancient Musicians,' dedicated to John Lennon. My slate relief carvings evoke archetypes.

"Daniel’s relief sculptures stand in an ancient tradition, dating to the Assyrians, and before – of telling stories through stone carved images that hold your attention." John Raimondi, sculptor.

HATSHEPSUT
HATSHEPSUT
Wife of Thutmose, whose early death left her as the guardian-mother of the three-year old Pharaoh, also named Thutmose, History told us that she seized Pharaoh’s throne, dresses like a man, and thereby became the only woman Pharaoh known to posterity. What followed was a twenty year reign of peace. In 1997 Egyptian Jihad, in an act of religious hysteria, slew sixty tourists on the very spot, honoring Hatshepsut, where I stood three years later. Height 24 in x 17 in approx.
